W169 Boot sensor

I have a regular alarm showing that the boot is open whilst driving. The boot is secured shut so I’m looking for the sensor.

Is it built into the locking mechanism?

Thanks for your reply.

Meant to update this thread yesterday as fault has been fixed.

The boot lock has been replaced and problem solved.
