w169 Head light brackets

Dear Colleagues

My front head light brackets are broken on both head lights and they rattle.

what can be done ? any fixes?

As they don't sit in line with the bumper?

I don't want to buy new head lights just for the brackets as the ones I have work well.

Can you help?

Can you post a picture of your broken brackets, if the bits are all there they can be repaired

Those part nos are all separate headlamp bracket repair kits. The brackets are designed to snap off as part of the crash structure, they have a pre- weakened snap line. These brackets just screw straight into the top of the lamp housing (pre mounded locations for self drilling self tappers in the kit) and then to the body metal as per original.
