W169 rear brakes

Do you remove the whole caliper to replace the rear pads on A Class? ie Is it the two large nuts which hold it to the backplate?

You remove the screw 40 and you can see 100 for the service pack

with those pins out the calliper splits leaving the backing plate still attached to the axle housing
