Just bought this as per other posts, am back to collect it from my mates in Birmingham after 1 week.

It flashs when using fob but no reaction from locks. Used emergency key to unlock driver door, and fob key to start, thankfully it started.

Any reset or further solutions to this?

The pump for these is in the boot. When unlocking listen for the pump to run. If it doesn't then you need to find why. Almost certainly either a knackered pump or a vacuum leak somewhere. Also check fuses (cheapest options first!)

Not remote/fob related? Will check fuses, I saw a few in the glovebox when I bought it. Should there be flashing lights on the rear view mirror to acknowledge a signal recieved?

Could possibly be flat batteries in the remote. Turn the camera on your phone on and point the remote at it. If you see a light when you press the unlock button then its working.

If you have two keys check them both.

Only one key, I can see red flash when I press button for both lock/unlock plus when viewed on phone camera.

Its ok to rely on skeleton key plus fob as they are to start car etc?

Oh, if I swop out batteries, is there a syncing procedure of same to follow? I havent got a handbook to check for any specific details or info, which fuse covers central locking or just check for a blown on, under bonnet?

Cheers

Just noticed, that as soon as I've gone beyond a certain speed, all the locks are activated, so the central locking/vacuum pump mechanism must still work, ( just not from remote fob as above can see the red light flash when button pressed). The key works fine in ignition, does it still work if batteries low or drained completely? Is it just a synching issue or swop out batteries?

Checked fuses, all intact, but no idea which fuse relates to remote/central locking if any, please see photo of my fuses box, which number(s) would it be, what may be missing? Anyone got a fuse box plan regarding which fuse does what?

Is there a relay I should check?

Thanks

Anyways, was away for 10 days, before that I'd been doing a bit of tidying up, a few small fixes, had rear hatch/doors open for quite a number of hrs, went to start it today, fob key wouldnt turn in ignition, no lights either, assuming its just battery or is it dreaded EIS issue?

On back of central locking not working before this, is it just cumulative electrical failings?

Ok to take battery out to charge, it wont set off alarm etc?

Any help appreciated.
