Wighty would be interested in a picture of the Sealey if posible . Might be interested if it works better than my idea of quick speed valves .

Yes looks ok oldspanners do secure the clear pipes with good clips .So air wont get in the system .Would like to talk to someone thats used this to do a fluid change. I need to do it with wheels on the floor . Is it possible .

Should be ok with the correct fitment and it's sucking the fluid through the nipple so any air should be outside the system.
As for doing the change with the wheels on the ground that would depend on access to the bleed nipples.
Here's the Sealey

Still think i will go for speed bleeders by Stablis .Its only screw all 4 of them in place once, and to bleed them one at a time you undo them one turn ,press the foot brake,, lose it ,or push it down a few times ,, then down under a tighten it up ..

I hadn't heard of them before I'd bourght the Sealey VS , I saw it on YouTube first and liked the idea that there is no need to keep an eye on the reservoir level . I then had to jack each wheel up , remove it and bleed each caliper until it ran clear .
The only problem I had was with the Clk which on the rear bleed valves did seem to have loads of air going into the clear bleed pipe which didn't seem to improve however much they were bled . A bit of Internet research later and it seemed that when I cracked open the bleed valve it allowed air to be drawn in around the gap where the valve meets the caliper body and this air goes straight into the outflowing brake fluid .

Oldspanners, how did you know that the spec sheet was 235.8 for your diff oil?
I want to change various fluids on my W210 and would like to know which sheets to refer to to get the correct products.
Many thanks

I went to this link and worked my way through the various pages on the select sheet drop down menu https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/023.0_en.html but I'm sure there is a quicker way, perhaps just do a search.

I searched for how to do it in you tube .
Yes, seen the video looks like a real good tool but for me a bit too expensive for me to use every two years or so as I have to pay the postage to France a well. Always on the look out for a "bargain" I like the idea of the vacuum pump which can serve two purposes and is cheaper.
Looks like I will have to put it on my list to Santa!
PS The top for the brake reservoir is the same for all MB's?

Yep, it was an additional cost , but for me was absorbed by both cars needing doing every couple of years , and I was paying someone else to do that , so I'm quids in now .
Both my cars were the same reservoir fitting at the top (they are both 2009)

Remove the nipple, wrap with thread sealing tape and refit.
Then using your trusty suction pump suck the fluid through from the master cylinder (remembering to check it does't empty the reservoir!).

Wighty never used plumbers tape on the bleed nipples before .The things are tapered and wont need the tape. But i like the idea of sucking it out .

The reason for the thread tape is to stop them drawing air. Just a single or double wrap is sufficient.
