W203 Front number plate

Hi all, a question before i go pulling it off...

My front number plate is stuck on with double sided tape... now i have a set of number plate holders to go on with new plates which obviously screw on. Is there holes for the plate already there on the bumper? I dont want to pull it off to discover i have to start drilling tonight..

you should have a number plate mount which is attached to the bumper, and the number plate screws on to that.
I expect when made or from a dealer the plate is bolted on first.

Im not sure whats behind the plate..i just dont want to pull it off tonight to find nothing to screw the new plate on to...
The plate that is on it does appear to be pretty flat against the bumper

Yes if your plate was stuck on already to the bumper, you may well have to get the drill out. They dont have holes or any plugged holes if there's no holder. Sorry.
