W204 rear door panel/ lock

hi guys, I have a problem with my osr door lock. Can't open it from the inside or out. Need to replace the lock but having problems getting the door card off with the door shut. I was going to cut it off and get a new door card but I did come across a post here with a member called television having instructions on sorting this out.

Saldy television has passed away. Does anyone have any info on the instructions? Thanks

Thansk but I know how to remove the card from the door when it's open, problem is I can't open the door and the mounting clips where you would normally pull on to release it are hidden by the door return.
