W205 C Estate Headlight

Hi All, hope everyone is well.

I think I need a new drivers side headlight unit for my late 2014 C Class AMG Line Estate.

I am aware of the extortionate price Merc charge and know roughly what they go for second hand/car parts places.

I have been told that if I do manage to get one that it will need to be programmed (Merc Only), is this true?

If so, are there not places besides Merc that can do it?

Any advice is appreciated.

Just thought I would let you know (as I forgot to update this), Dronsfield we’re brilliant. But... headlight set me back £475, ECU for Headlight £165 and ‘coding’ £140!!! Car off the road for a week on axle stands with no front end while I waited for everything to be done :-(

Although I now have a fully operational headlight... needless to say... That hurt lol
