Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
do all w209 320's have keyless go?

No - I'd say it was very rare.

Also think about if you really want it - brilliant when it works - pita when it breaks

They are projector headlamps, more likely to be bi-xenons (early adopters had simple xenons) but there is a possibility of them being halogens. MB fitted projector halogens briefly in a number of models.

IF the bulbs are halogen could they be upgraded to HID? without issues?

Broaden your search area and you will get what you want.
I really dont get how people expect the car of their dreams to be 5 minutes down the road from where they live.
I travelled 210 miles for mine !

Contact me if you are interested..
My Brother has decided he is selling his CLK320 Cdi.. (Out of work now)..
It is a 56 plate with just over 50,000 miles and full service history.
It has Bi Xennons and Harmon Kardon Sound system.
You also benefit from the fact it has had a recent gearbox electro plate at a Mercedes dealership...

Its a lovelly example.. Malcolm (Television) knows the car and has been in it.

It originally was my car..
I sold it for a CLK63 AMG which I ended up selling on..
I wanted the CLK 320 back off my Brother but he didnt want to sell and so I bought another 210 miles away from me in Bath.

My Brother is now out of work and is willing to sell..
Its genuinely a brilliant example..
If you are serious about a 209 then this is one of the best at your sort of budget.

I can e mail you photos of it tonight when I get in from work, if you contact me via my e-mail address below:

OP you can almost bet your pension on it. That buying off this forum the car will be right on the money.

I would be on the phone to the above ASAP.

Just my twopennuth.

+1 for snatching Simon's (well his brothers) hand off for the car. it will have been festidiously maintained and looked after and as the 7G box has been repaired recently you probably won't find another in such a good state of repair.

doesnt really matter how great the speakers are or are not, i was told. if the AMP is a crappy one, chances are the sound will be too, although decent speakers will help a bit to improve it
