Make sure there's fuel in the saddle tank both sides especially the drivers side.
Was the injector second hand or new?My car just went into limp mode again.
I done a leak off test and i can see injector number 3 spitting out fuel, lots of air looks like.
What should i do
Was the injector second hand or new?
Or refurbished ?
Check the leak off connector on top of the injector has the seal intact.
Check everything that you removed or touched when doing the injector.
It was refurbished. Im thinking can it be the injector itself. I will take it off tomorrow and take it back to them. Was the injector second hand or new?
Yes i put everything back as it should be, no leaks / cracks visibleOr refurbished ?

Why is air only blowing through injector number 3 and not the others. Can it be the injector?
No dont think so as i used the leak tester on that injector before. It must be, there may be a hairline crack down the body, some refurbishers miss that. I do not see otherwise how you get air on the leak test, unless the leak tester is having trouble sealing with the injector.
Buy an injector on ebay, euro car parts, dealer etc swap it out and see if it does the same. The injector is leaking back the same amount of fuel as the other ones. But the difference is its spitting the fuel with lots of air.
So im not sure what to make of it
Don't do that on a common rail diesel. At best you will loose fuel, at worst high pressure diesel will cause a horrible injection injury.I cracked the nut on that injector to try an bleed some air, but fuel only spouts out.
Do u mean who refurbed the injector? Or who fitted it on?Buy an injector on ebay, euro car parts, dealer etc swap it out and see if it does the same.
If so, take it back to the refurbisher and get your money back.
Who did the work?
I was careful to only loosen it a little bit, does the system automatically bleed air through high pressure pump?Don't do that on a common rail diesel. At best you will loose fuel, at worst high pressure diesel will cause a horrible injection injury.
