Hi all,

Looking for some help please. I need to find a fuse location in the fuse box under the rear seat that is only ignition live.

Also, does this fuse box stay awake for some time after locking the car? I've tried some locations already and they still seem live after locking and leaving for 30 mins. They're either permanent live or it's staying awake for ages.

Failing that, has anyone tapped into an ignition live in w215 or w220 that is accessible in the cabin? Could you point me in the general direction. I don't have the fuse box at the end of the dash, so that's a no go.

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex , I have a w211 and recently wired a dashcam into an ignition live in the boot fuse box . I used an electrical tester and checked all the fuses at the end of the dash and didn't find any that weren't live all the time . In the end I think I went for a fuse way which was empty on my car , it said it was for rear wipers which my saloon doesn't have . I think it does stay active for a few mins after the car is locked , but not as long as 30 mins by any means
