W220 S-Class Wheels Question

Hi All,

I'm looking for winter wheels for our S-Class 320CDi. It is a 2005 with the standard brakes of that year.

On the 'sticky' link at the top, there is a site with a list of wheels and sizes etc.

Can anyone tell me if the 16 inch versions (such as is seen with the spare wheels) will fit an '05 S-Class, or were these intended for the pre-facelift W220, which i believe had smaller front brakes? (Meaning i need 17 inch as a minimum?)

I got my info from the mercedes wheel book, only the one 16" carmenta wheel listed and it says for cars up to 09-02.

You can fit wheels from 16" up to 18" the brakes never changed, I actually fitted 17" inch from the last face lift because the 17" tyres are cheaper, Cheers Dave

Hi, sorry for the late reply, i found a nice set of 17" factory standard wheels on ebay, just ordering some winter tyres for them now. It had better snow!
