Right then .
Progress .
A clever person spent some time testing yesterday .

Seems my can lines are ok but there's a strange out out from the Ecu to the x30/21 voltage distributor .

He wants to test further .
In the meantime I'm
Looking into ecu repair possibilities .

Any one had ecu repaired ?

So your star still won't communicate with tcu or ism? Remove the connector under pass seat and open it up. The pcb fails.

.
Thanks Star .

I might have got my designations mixed up but i think that one is the x 30 /30 that's what i meant in the previous post . It by the vent under the front passenger seat .
Block connector with 3 lots of can wires.

must say star instructions were a bit misleading , they tell you to test a particular plug which would intimate that they are in a particular socket in the block . Apparently they are not in any specific socket and it does not matter where they go in the block

It was probed quite extensively yesterday .
From what i understand there should be a difference in voltage between the high and low but should total 5 , and there was a discrepancy here

easy to check though , my new best friend has a spare one or i can pinch one from the missus wagon .......hopefully getting close .....

Check the wiring diagram.

Most CAN buzz bars have 1 2 pin wiring plug which will have a different colour(s) to the rest. That is usually the supply line to the connector, the rest are feeds off to various other networks.

I've got low 11.6v on the rear battery .
Could that be related ?
11.6 could be a sleeping CAN, or the battery could be old, it would normally at 10 days to the battery go to switch off or possible
