W222 S-Class reliability?

Does anyone on here have experience of the W222 S-Class? Getting very tempted, and seen a couple of nice 3-4 year old ones that should therefore have had any niggles / issues sorted by now under warranty. Are there any things to look out for? Are they reliable?

Hi Bill,

I've had mine (S350d AMG Line SWB Premium Plus + Extras) for 9 months since new and it's been basically very reliable. I've done about 11k miles at an average 35mpg. The only thing I'm not happy with is a slightly unnatural front nearside wheel movement related to crabbing when the car is on full lock, reversing down a slope. This could be entirely unavoidable as it has only been helping in cold weather, my trues are 20" low profile and hence a well known problem.
