evening all,

I have a B200 diesel on 2009 plate

Occasionally when I give the car max acceleration, the turbo blows off the intercooler pipe down near the intercooler matrix. It's the long pipe that goes from there to the air box/filter.

Its a pain as I lose all power (obviously) and have to stop and reattach.

Now I can see some sort of yellow passivate clip that I suppose, locates the plastic pipe into the intercooler, but it looks like its only 1/2 a clip.

does anyone know (or look for me) if that is right?

Do I have an issue with too much pressure (hope not)

anyone have this issue?

thanks for reading

I seem to recall there's a tech bulletin about this. Your dealer should be able to find it and rectify it.

just an update, I replaced the air filter and think it may have been the old filter being clogged. the back pressure must blow it off occasionally. Didn't look particulary dirty, but the car cewrtainly moves better now :)
