Warning Light

Hello People
need some thoughts, the wifes 2001 C200 (W203)has a warning light up on the display.Yellow light of an engine,book says there may be a fault with the injection system-ignition system-exhaust system,The car runs fine there seems to be no differance in performance,tickover or starting any thoughts would be appreciated or its an expensive trip to the dealers.

I would fill up with some different petrol and take it for a hard run, possibly some faulty fuel around moving the settings for the O2 sensor

Take it to a specialist near you as they are often much cheaper than a dealer. (no connection, honest)

It needs to have the fault codes read to find out what brought the light on.

Thankyou for the input gents, fueled up and added injector cleaner will see how it goes,Is there any method us mere mortals can use to clear faults from the system ie.disconnecting the battery for a while or is this garage domain only.
