Warranty claim - Mechanical failure or wear and tear?

I have a dispute with my warranty company who state that an air bellow on the suspension which has split and is leaking air causing the car to lower on that corner is a result of wear and tear and not a mechanical failure and it is therefore not covered by the policy.

Can anyone suggest points to argue on this matter please? The bellow is clearly torn about 1cm and the car has done about 80k.

Mercedes GL 420 Brabus '56.

Thanks.

These things do not wear, thats rubbish, I can only recall 1 other post from 2 weeks back in all my years on here and elsewhere where one split.
