couple of car park dinks but the only thing looking at it that really worries me, assuming the bonnet opens in the 'conventional' direction (ie towards the windscreen) is the height of the bonnet compared to the wings at the windscreen end, and some of the gaps between front wing and bumper don't look quite right to me. possibler front end shunt explaining the low mileage? I think a thorough HPI check etc (possibly an Aston specialist or current owner to look over it too) would be in order.

if it all checks out, its a lot of car for the money its at now (£10,100). id almost be tempted myself, even with the auto box!

I have always loved Aston Martin and could afford to buy a second hand one but running one could or more likely would be exorbitant.

As turbopete says really important to do your homework but it does look nice.

I suspect the V12 might be a handful if there are problems. I like the V8 Vantage quite a bit and have considered one as a DD but I'm also a little scared.
This DB7 looks a good price.

Looks nice but it is after all a 15 year old car so I would be wondering about bushes and rubber pipes and suspension and all those other things that wear out on any car.

That said isnt it from when Ford owned it, so it might all be Mondeo stuff really.

Check the company out,
I've had reservations about their style when looking at their other auctions.

The seals leaked like a sieve when new so they won't have improved over the years.

M6 Cab - prior to that, SL63 AMG, A-M V8 Vantage, SL55, SL500 and many more
Serious money needed to sort that.
@MalcQV - you are right to be scared about a V8V - built quality appalling

The car is at the start of its bidding and the price will only go up and it may be attracting some friendly bidding.

The mileage was one concern compared to the wear n tear.

The company buys from auctions and then sells direct on e-bay,
sold as seen and tested faults to be corrected by the buyer.

I have used them before and every car from them has had faults,
some serious (new engines) but mostly minor repairs under £500.

ive looked at quite a few of their auctions. IF they practice what they claim to, they would appear to be quite a decent outfit.

I also have to admit that I don't think ive ever seen ANY car they have auctioned, being re-advertised by them, so possibly they are actually as they claim to be. id be interested in hearing from people who have used them before, out of curiosity if nothing else!

Their feedback suggests some poor descriptions resulting in winners passing on the purchase. The time and fuel wasted is a consideration. The car I guess will then be re advertised.
Maybe the percentage of poor feedback is acceptable, but still worthy of concern.

that's something id never looked into is the feedback, but then again, id never looked at a car they advertised with a 'serious' view to buy, more a case of curious to see how much they sell certain cars for, against ones that sell with no issues/warranty etc.

I had a look at the bid history and yes there appears to have been some friendly bidding.

Biggest quality concern on this car during its production run was, wait for it, the adhesive on the butyl strips that hold half of the body structure together failing.

Bumpers (complete) dropping off when negotiating speed bumps was a known manifestation of this issue...

Very significant mass reduction John. Took 150kg out of the platform metal alone.
