Thanks but no chance, you wouldnt get one over the bolt head, it would hit the hoses above.
Hoses = flexible = can be pushed enough to get out the way usually (not found many that can't).

These two are anchored within an inch one one and 2” on the other, of where you want to push.
All SORTED NOW by Sevan Motors for £50 ... very reasonsble. And he sorted my graunching noise on full lock, some plate had come partially loose, checked the breather hoses, topped up the coolant I lost twisting the jubilee clip, and looked over all the suspension and the drop links I had fitted, and replaced one broken wiper blade all for £35.
Kinda reassurung to know the oil and filter were not leaking and ai had fitted the air filter correctly.
So All good for the impending MOT in mid July.

The new Mobil1 5W 50 oil and the new tensioner, have reverted the engine to a very sweet running and sweet sounding engine :):)
No tappet clatter at all, but it wasnt too bad.
So oversll a real result. :):)
He was positive the failing Tensioner hadn't damaged the chain or the chain guides.
Very lucky I spotted the tensioner early, and it came up to pressure after a few minutes.

Somebody ask whether the Tensioner could be mended.
I have the partially working one that was taken out, so if they wanted I could undo the top nut and so what happens ... if they are still interested. MB do sell a seal for that but suspect its just for sealing the top funny looking nut affair .. i.e. not the actual oil seal the piston runs through.

Took me 2h at home to do this job, however my dad couldn't do it himself as his hands where to big. I have manage to squiz my fingers there with small manual rachet and I was doing moves like 1cm left and right. It was a pain in the *** to do this job. If you do not have enough patience do not do it!!!
