To be fair I'm as amazed as the next man.

Although apparantly we are both happy and anxious at the same time, not sure how that works.

Oh, and it's just the English, the Scots are still miserable. So no change there then.

I am extremely happy , but this is because I am very simple and fail to anticipate bad stuff coming down the line . ( what are those lights in the distance )

Well you voted to Remain but after losing the argument you are just as happy as you were before the vote so maybe the Irish were content to have lost the vote.
The English who voted to leave are pleased to have finally won something.
The Scots have Nicola Sturgeon so they are clearly content with very little.
