Washed both. The s class after a return journey from France. Those buys were very difficult to remove, as was Megs bug and tar remover.....

Put the AMG coding on my spare TCU (which was from a 600). Was not a fan of the eurocharged mapping on the original tcu, made the box constantly want to change down.

Check over the S for its MOT tomorrow AM. All good.

Nothing on mine as I was too busy with daughters Civic. Whoever it was that thought that rear calipers need 'winding' back in was a good idea needs .....
I had to make an emergency tool in lieu of having the correct kit.
It worked though which is the main thing and brake discs with threaded holes that take a caliper bolt to push the discs off was a godsend.

On Saturday my 203 (2006 vintage) celebrated it's third birthday in my care. She is now on 62 500 miles, only 17 000 with me. A benefit of being retired. In the past I could do that in a year. Still the best car I've ever had, Gina & I both love it, though I still enjoy reading about and seeing pictures of all the lovely Mercs you lot have. Something to stick on the lottery win shopping list.

Taken the passenger side wheel off to change a headlight bulb...

I wish engineers were more involved in car design these days but the people have what the people want (if you believe those in marketing... (they should / will be first up against the wall (Hitchhikers wasn't wrong))

Call from Waterhouse Chelmsford, Air Filters have arrived so am taking her for part 2 of my B service tomorrow.

I thought key fob battery replacement was part of every annual service through MB or have I got this wrong?

Took it to Kwik Fit for a hunter alignment.
Mistake.
They did the alignment and I glanced at the paperwork and noticed the settings used were for an r230. Pointed out that was the next generation SL from mine..
They put it back on the machine and I was asked if I'd watch over the technicians shoulder as he did it. I ended up telling him to do it as he hadn't realised the 129 is fully adjustable as standard.
At least I know everything is aligned right (and it was nice being able to point at stuff and not get my hands dirty!)

So glad I went the extra 80 miles and went to Bristol.

Arranged a test drive in what may be my next m b , it’s a 2007 e320 cdi avantgarde with panaramic sunroof ,nice high spec
Full service history 2 owners , higher mls than I wanted at 147000 but can’t find one with this spec with lower mls.
So here’s hoping it’s all I expect.

Wise man on the Gyeon bathe...I also have bathe + for those times I haven’t any free time to apply some protection after (which seems a lot of the time at the moment )
