So I thought too. The bulbs removed are the original production, PY21W with orange cel wrapped around the glass ampoule. I've not seen them like that in years & years!

Yup, same in my car, I just wanted rid of the fried egg look, have replaced both front and rear on my W204

Some LED replacements will be going in the back of mine shortly - the standard ones are quite dim/washed out.

Just received new replacement filter for ABC reservoir A 003 184 61 01 apparently correct for my CL not sure they look the same size from packet but hope they're correct. I brought 2 as I was reading about the difference in newer filters, suggesting to change the filter again after a short time. Would this be correct procedure? (after obviously having done a system flush before)
Thanks.

Flushed the drains in both cars with loads of water , pushed a wire down the A post small drains on the CLk (convertible roof drains) .
Lubed all the door locks and bonnet and boot ones as well .
All on a gorgeous sunny day , t-shirt weather ....wonderful day for tinkering .
Plugged the icarsoft into the Clk to check things , nothing of note but deleted what was there and I'll see if it comes back .
Checked and topped up the Clk with a small amount of oil as well .

The wipers didn't work this morning and I am assuming it is a fuse that has blown. Does anybody know which fuse number will be the guilty party and are there spare fuses in the fuse box. Many thanks
Didn't take the car to the office to=day, I walked as it is only about a 30 minute walk. When I got home from the office about 3.30pm the first thing I will do is have a look at the number 10 fuse, perfect. Got in the car and tried the wipers, no problem, so I don't know what is going on there

I'm not sure if I filled up on Saturday morning- I thought I filled up on Friday, I do actually use that filling station though- but there IS another silver CL500 215 around that area though.

Okay, I saw this CL had different wheels on it, similar to the turbine style in sliver and black.......kind of.

Perfectly proper, but the new 3mu filters are good enough to not need to worry.

Thank you.
What has got my mind pondering now is that I've looked at the condition of the filter currently in use, carefully lifting it out the reservoir still attached to the cap, at the end of the filter there is a loosely coiled spring. The new ones don't appear to have one. Has this spring coil worked it's way out of the casing? Perhaps an old design? Really glad I've got the correct part. The oil is filthy, long overdue.
Thanks again for your help.

Double-check the bonnet is properly closed - there is a cut-out that stops them from scraping the back edge of the bonnet if the wipers are activated when bonnet is open.
