Fitted a pair of new windscreen wipers.

It's so low maintenance that's all I've done for the last year or so (and that's the kiss o' death)

No lens debris on the ground, did they pick it up so as not to give the game away? I just don't understand why people don't fess up when they damage someone else's car.

I've spent many hours over the last couple of months getting rid of mountains of stuff from our garage in the hope that my splendid SL could be tucked in there for the winter. Today I washed the car then drove it into the garage, great. Only then it dawned on me that I can't open the door wide enough to get out. Someone very slender and supple might just manage it, but not me.

Thankfully my brother has offered safe haven in one of his many garages, where it spent last winter, but it's 25 miles from home so I won't be able to run it out now and then as I'd hoped. So frustrating that modern garages are intended for little cars and limbo dancers.
Could you put the roof down and step out?

Pictures would make that even funnier buddy .

As would a video of him getting out of the car and pushing it in to the garage! :D

Garages do pee me off though. Why Johnny Builder & Co can't figure it out is beyond me.

A mate has just moved in to family quarters, fairly new houses, and his 2003 CLK barely fits through garage door, let alone allow him to open a door more than a few inches.

Their Mk1 X5 won't even get through door!

Removed and replaced the instrument binnacle to replace a blown bulb, a tad daunting, but actually not that difficult with a little help from good old YT :coffee:

Henry the VIII is to blame after he demolished all the huge monstories and then said only small buildings will be needed for your cart

Houses are built to a 'price' to maximise developers returns. The density is often determined by the level of greed. When buying this home it was 28 to the acre, its 43 on the newest developments just up the road on the outskirts of the town adjacent to open fields.

The local Council Planning Department here work on 1.4 vehicles per building plot these days. The roads are very narrow too, certainly not 2 lanes wide. Friends recently moved into a new 4 bedroom house on a new development. 2 cars already in the family. Give it 3 years the son child will be driving, then the daughter. Where will the cars go???

When the development we live on was planned 30+ years ago the ratio was 1 garage space + 2 driveway spaces for each property above 1 bedroom. Double garage properties had 3 spaces. The 1 bedroom properties had designated off road spaces in enclosures with a ratio such that for each 2 dwellings there was 1 visitor space.

We looked at new development in the County town last weekend where they work to 1 garage + 1 space. Double garage, 2 spaces.
The roads are two lanes. Also none of the 2/3 size furniture in the show homes to give the impression of bigger size.

Used to have a garage with a car in. Then got kids, married etc. Garage now split into a larder/store room and a toy store. Oh and a loft full of junk, and cupboards full of junk. It's called life ;);) The path down one side of the house has been converted to a big shed full of junk.

Fortunately the likes of QVC won't be going out of business anytime soon :mad:

Typical public sector thinking - 1.4 cars! Who has 1.4 cars?

For Sale: 0.6 of my car, one careful owner, genuine reason for sale...

They've just built a load of "eco" homes up near my Pa.... utterly ridiculous - I think they've based that on 1.15 cars per household! Absolutely no space whatsoever.

Councils also seem to ignore the fact that at least every other car is an SUV and/or a van!

When I come to power.....
