Too late one feels! This can so easily deteriorate now...!
That crack looks quite close to a previous repair unless my eyes deceive me?Washed my very dirty 55 after the recce earned more brownie points by washing the missus' 500.
She'll now buy me a new tyre and pay for the rim repair

Given the number of tyre related incidents Peter has had lately I'm starting to think he has a rubber fetish!
I topped it up again. Now sitting nearly full. But I'm having problems with the heater blowing cold. Did have it working after flushing with only water. Will now have to drain out all mw new antifreeze and flush again. I will get to the bottom of this heater problem even if I have to add a valve for bleeding.Hot or cold?
You did well there Jim!View attachment 46676 View attachment 46677
Picked up a set of alloys which will become my winter set. The vendor claimed that they were less than six months old and he was only selling them because he'd sold the car they were fitted too, and, if that's the case, I think I stole them.
Normally I'm not much of a fan of black but these actually look very presentable now that I've given them a wash. In fact, once I've polished them up I think they'll look great on the car.
Two have 5/6 mm tread depth, pretty good, with Conti's on. The other two, have Conti's again that're approx 3.5/4 mm which will do until I can afford a couple of winter spec tyres (next month) for the back.
As soon as I've got them finished, touched up, polished and balanced, I'll post some pictures of them mounted on the car.
You did well there Jim!
£7-800 I guess, quite hard to value with any degree of accuracyIn your opinion John, what do you think would have been a fair/reasonable price for these?
