gave the old girl a blast up the M1 (J28 to j29), she might be an old oil burning 2.7 but she still shifts when booted, and flashing be'ems, Audi's and Range Rovers to shift over, made my day, oh and she returned 39mpg on a 40 mile round trip to Sports Direct at Shirebrook, M1 up and country lanes back down, best car /engine combo ever made for mpg and performance possibly?

Washed and detailed for the first time (actually yesterday). Rain beading and running off nicely so far. Wheels came up beautifully.

Started to clean the suspension and brakes though packed in after doing the front end as it's just too cold for me. <wimp>

It's now in the garage with the front wheels off waiting for the rain to stop so I can get them cleaned up outside and then back on. I'll hopefully start with the rears later in the week...

Plugged my cheap £14.99 ebay diagnostic code reader in and found one code -P0172 which translates to ''system too rich (bank2)'' anyone know what this means please...?

Assuming you've got a 6 or 8 cylinder car?

It suggests there's too much fuel going in to one bank of cylinders. Cause of which could be a number of things but one of the more knowledgeable people should be along shortly!

After 16 months and 13,000mls we finally had the fuel tank baffle fixed by one of the forum users. A great guy and a top job well done, many thanks Jameson

Sorted out the Comand coming on then turning off every few minutes, by the expedient of removing the fuse for it then parking the car up for a fortnight. All good now. Job jobbed!
