    I do the whole car.

    CarPro Iron-X for industrial fallout
    AS Tardis for Tar
Auto Finesse Citrus Power for traffic film.

Try Iron X or similar Dai... Just neutralises & soften any ferrous deposites on the car.

Edit: Blumin 'eck... Carl's on it this morning!!!

Just topped off yesterday's car clean with a coat of Autoglym HD wax . Hopefully the two pics accurately show my 3 hours total labour was worth it . Mot next week :( so fingers crossed . image.jpeg image.jpeg

Took the bonnet badge off, and removed the top of the armrest for nappa re-trim.
Was surprised to discover the W169 bonnet has a 42mm recess as if for the older style bonnet star ... hmmm o_O
The EPC listed bonnet badge is A207 817 0316 and is a two-pin 57mm one.

Yes it does! I walked passed one which had the old bonnet star retrofitted, I love the way it looked!

Ha, that's a whole new level of funkiness

Not sure the upright star would ever look good with a grille one, never seen this combination work ... Photoshop time

30 miles punt in the beast , that V8 is an addiction that will be hard to kick when I decide to move on . . . . . .

Took it for a drive - to Amsterdam. Mind you, stuck in horrendous jams round the Antwerp ring road, I did wonder why we hadn't gone by air!

Upgraded A Class dipped beams from old jaded Osram Silver Star +60% ( now a lot less ) to Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited.
Lovely improvement ... a LOT brighter and quite a lot whiter too. So much the wife asked me to upgrade the Main/fog H4 60/55W.
These went in very easily .... :):):)
The right one is difficult for a lefty as there is a fat AC pipe making it awkward .. but manageable in 15 mins.
Blimey made the old ones positively yellow .... order placed on Amazon for the NB Unlimited H4s and for the sidelights .. going Osram Intense blue ... as these current side lights look like orange mini candles.

Then wasted 3 hours trying to seat the CL500s Cornering lights ... totally crap engineering, extremely difficult to feel the bulb is seated prior to locking up.
Would happily castrate the MB engineer, who designed that **** bulb holder!
And the manual is totally wrong. ( see seperate thread if appropriate to you)

Anyway put back the old bulbs, and now I know how they go in, with great difficulty, I will upgrade the Cornering lamps tomorrow.... with Osram Intense Blue 4200K 20% brighter cornering lamps tomorrow .. weather permitting :-/
