The one I've just taken off is.
This has been to Poland.
Found a guy there who offers what Jack doesnt.
Flat top and bottom and sculpted sides.
Then thickened and retrimmed.
Its stunning in the flesh.

Ermmm...
Jack does flat bottom, sculpting, thickening and trimming?

I contacted Jack and he said he couldn't do this for me.
Said he could do flat bottom though, sent me a pic and it didnt look right.
Saw a pic of another SLK wheel from this guy and it looked spot on, so went for it.
Had 5 wheels done by Jack and always been happy with his work.
Just not this time.

Popped back to the wheel refurbishers place to get the wheels fixed :

And they are located down an alley way with cruddy neighbours and no parking, so I Was told to come back the next day as there was a lorry blocking the alley......grr

Sorted out this little corrosion patch on the rear door handle:



I opted for a brush repair rather than spray, due to its location. I think its not that obvious.

Otherwise I would have had to mask up the whole side of the car.

Over 400 miles to Aberfeldy passing through showers and here is the final result, still looking good thanks to the Gtech protection..

Today, I spent 5 hours, installing an android head unit on the CLK, only to find out that there are 3 different version of the same F***ing radio with 5mm difference between their dimensions, but otherwise appear identical, which was awesome!

In addition to that farce, I also ran the loom the for heated seats and found that the switch pack I have does not light up for some reason.

All in all 0% productive day.
