Why is there no 02 sensor in my 2002 sport coupe's exhaust?

Can't find one at all on the exhaust pipe. Were these models not equipped with them from the factory?
Won't this make it hard for the ecu to adjust the fuelling?

Anyone able to enlighten me please.

Is your car petrol or diesel? They didn't start putting them on the diesels until 2005 or 2006 iirc. If your car is a petrol it definitely has one. It will be in the downpipe, just after the manifold and they are sometimes difficult to spot

Thanks Uncle Benz. She is a diesel.
So, no o2 sensor. I'll not worry about it then. Will make putting a stainless exhaust on a little easier for the fitters.

Yo, Surj.doing ok. Good to be back under the bonnet. Few jobs lined up. Front brakes qnd offside rear lower hub rose joint. All good fun!

Nice one, I guess that lot will keep you off the bike(s) for a bit then....which is no bad thing in this weather I suppose.
