Will W221 facelift seat covers fit pre-facelift seats

Hi

My driver heated seat has failed, I have found face lift covers online that have the same colour code and look the same but the part number are different as the are for the face lift car. Mine is 2007
Anyone know if they will fit?

Hi... I know that this thread is quite old, but in response, you are better to change the covers with like for like. On my 2006 car, I swapped the whole interior with one from a 2012 car. The covers are different in the way they look (the pre-facelift cars have 2 main panels and the later cars have 3 on the seat squab for starters) if you only change one, the seats will look odd. One thing to note if you do change the full interior is that the passenger side seat recognition pad on the earlier cars are different to the later ones. I had to strip the pad from my 2006 seats and replace the one in the 2012 seats. The wiring is different on only this component and the seats fit and work exactly the same
