wing / door mirror covers c180 coupe

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to remove the cover (including indicator lens etc) from the mirror its self on a c180 coupe? my mirrors have been damaged so i bought a couple from ebay but the covers are a different colour to the original ones so i simply want to put my old covers onto the new mirrors and then replace the whole units on the car.
