Hey guys,

I had a serious problem with WOLFRACE. I have Grey Assassin Alloy Wheel - size: 8.5 x 20”. 2 out of 5 wheels broke after 9 months!!! Even though they have 4 years warranty!!! In one wheel 3 spikes cracked in half in the other wheel 2 spikes cracked. The car wasn't overloaded and used only on good roads with recommended tires. WOLFRACE denied to fix them under warranty. I think that information in their catalog about load index is not true. Very poor contact. For 6 months I was trying to work with them to find reasonable, peaceful solution. After that, they just stopped responding to my emails. I feel disregarded. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Those are serious failures. Thank God you or yours were not injured. That looks to me like the alloy was not heat treated (a cost saving measure). Saw this with the old Nissan Navarra, it had identical problems with wheel spokes snapping due to no heat treatment.

I agree.

Cannot let these Companies just ignore you & hope you go away. Their warranty is obviously not worth the paper its written on. Also, you've tried to agree amicably with them. It does make me angry when people try to rip others off from their hard earned....

Small claims court I feel- dependant on the original cost, of course.

I have sold thousands of Wolfrace wheels and never seen that happen before, quite shocking!!!

Looking at the op's profile a Volkswagen transporter, also looking at the style of wheel I'd be wondering if they have been given the wrong load index as he says,

Perhaps give Wolfrace as much bad publicity as possible

I wouldn't mind betting he's another that logs on once for a rant and is never seen again.

They are load rated for a T5

Thread should be closed, a one post wonder trolling the internet.

OP get legal with them if your claim is true.

Sprinter. Respecting all the recommendation for those wheels. The problem is company changed load index for that model after the sale was made, and is using this as an argument for denying warranty claim. Of course legal steps should be taken, but frankly it would be a long and not that easy way as I'm based out of UK :(

Is the load rating cast into the wheel? If so case closed....
