xexon bulb change

hi

changed my xexon bulbs on my w211

managed to get old bulbs out and new bulbs in (with only about 18 cuts on my hand, there is no room in there!) however i can not seem to get the light ignition
part to go on properly, it will not twist and lock. is there a nack to this?

Kristian, yep they are a pain to get back on and your not the only one who hass the problem, it took me about 45 minutes to change mine and I'm what they call an athletic build (just another way of saying flipping skinny in my mind lol), may be worth trying to put it on and off a couple of times before having it in the end position just to practice. Where abouts are you in the midlands?

it sits in the groove but just will not turn

Ok Leicester isn't to far from me and if you were to come up to Newark at any point I will see if I can help. I fount the unit to be very stiff what re attaching almost to the pont I thought I was going to break it but it worked fine in the end?

i had the same issue. In the end I removed the headlight!!
