had and alarm immobizer installed got an old school freind to do it 6hrs and £150 ouch "wallbang" but At least i know she is alarmed and immobilized.
It remote locks and unlocks car, shut windows, has remote engine start. Trigger Sensor connected to boot, bonnet, all 4 doors and shock sensor and power drain. Its a Pager system to so if triggered itfitted to off lets me know. Led fitted to of course. has a valet switch and of course 6 tone siren

That all sounds so spiffingly wonderful, but just you wait till the battery runs down on yer key fob sender - what then?

Just try it and see what happens and where did you keep that spare battery?
its no good if its in the car cos you can't get back in to get it!

Not oftern key fob battery goes flat just like that, normally you get a range issue as a warning but it will still unlock on the key has a key to mute siren to

As you stated its not just an alarm, but got an immobiliser too - that means - yes, you may be able to get in but car will not start without proper strong signal to disarm.

Its a wonderful thing till it happens where you least expect it too and you can't remember where you stored that spare battery if you remembered to get one that is - and if its in the boot or spare wheel area, can you get in there when it happens. - keep life simple and get a 10p self-flashing neon lamp fitted to dash (maplins - or TV on this forum will advise) with switch to turn it on & look like its alarmed.

Alarmed or not, it won't stop a thief if you've left something valuable on show in car.

I always leave glove-box door open to show there's nothing worth breaking in for.

true I have a spare battery to go in car. I never leave anything in the car but its like the other night some drunk twats set about my other car and the alarm was enough to disperse them in every direction with only my mirrror glass being knocked out. cars are also fitted with cat 3 manaul immobolisers. Forgot my key onece cost me £20 in taxi fare to go ome and back for key. That was a bitch lol
