You just cant beat an old 5.5L V8 (other than with an AMG) contrast GLC 220d.

returned GLC today had to top uP petrol.
Took £11.18 hmm
... 36 miles ( certified by photo of dash and the contract delivery mileage!)
1.878 gallons = 19.1 mpg ( worked out later )

So pressed mpg from start 24.5 mpg. Wow I am impressed! And the echo was on.
:):) did anyone mention power to weight ratio. :):)
And no definitely not ragged, just kept up, with the traffic

And to think I get 8 mpg after 6 miles, however after 20 mls I get 22.3 mpg in the 55 and that's if I drive it spiritedly :D
19.1 driving economically

296 miles at 14 mph gets 31 mpg...that is very good.

6 miles at 17mph gets 24.5mpg...also good.

But 2 miles at 25mph getting only 26.3mpg isn't great.

What have I missed?

Auto sub

Auto substitute on an ipad?? Never seen that?
You mean you can't change it to what you want? You want to write ECO, it says you must write echo? Weird.
