I have seen it before.....and couldn't help thinking it was rather bias.

1,000,000 KM is about 620,000 miles....all of which was done on a warm engine in a merc.....nothing to write home about really.

It would have been much more interesting if they had ran 3 cars in parallel with a cheaper and another "premium" oil to see if there was actually much difference.

On a side note, I wonder how much that cost them in fuel :lol:

Looks like a petrol 173 they probably used gas to run it on

its all i ever use in my clk, just had mine seviced and i prefer this to castrol gtx or any other oil.use it in my mg too. and audi. it does what it says on the tin...

Ran my Volvo 245 mostly on Mobil 1 for about 20years. Engine was still good when the lorry wrote it off at some 335,000 miles, the rest of it was knackered well past its use by date.
