Default Check Oil level at refuelling

I have a 2007 ml63amg that has displayed check Oil level at next refuelling.
Have checked & level appears fine.
Does anybody on here have any clues on this?

Different engine, but my car is very finicky re the level and often gives the same message. Needs to be checked when warm

As above. Might need as little as 1/2 litre.

Thanks for the replies I've added a litre which has bought it to the maximum.
Hopefully this sorts it out.
