E500

Hi everyone owning a CLK430 I know that the engine and box are bullet proof,I am going to check out a 05reg E500 at a main agent are there any particular points to look for bodywork wise.

Hi

By 05 the E class should be a mix of galvanised steel and aluminium so rust should not be a problem.

I have had my 04 for a couple of years and haven't seen any body problems.

The engine just feels fantastic and the whole experience of driving her is special. I also am getting about 23 mpg according to the computer ( I can't be giving it enough welly)

bear in mind you have the additional weight of an extremely high spec Pete!

Have you seen this? Probably a little more money than the 05 but it's a facelift, 388 bhp rather than 306 and open to offers!
