I have a CLS 320 and I am on the lookout for some nice 20'' rims. Before I buy, I have done some research into pads and dust, and have found that Wagners Thermoquiet have a great reputation in USA for no/minimal dust :D
They are mainly only available in USA, but fortunately have relatives there who will be visiting me in a few weeks. I can order and get them delivered to US.
HOWEVER, they are only available for the CLS 500 petrol, as they don't bother with "derv" over there!!!
Will they fit? Are the calipers the same????

I suggest you type in your reg via the link below and look up the brake pads and note the pad model number..
Then use the drop down box and check out the petrol version and compare the brake pad part numbers...

If they are available for your car then I really do suggest you look at the TEXTAR E Pads... Low dust and excellent.. But not cheap.

I have been using EBC pads for many years, no problems at all and nice clean wheels all the time. I have also noted on the USA forums that Wagners Thermoquiet are good. I may try the Epads that Simon has tried if they are made yet for my car

I have also used original pads for ages and discs and had no issues and with a decent wax on the wheels, they stay clean too. We've a few members with less than positive experiences with non OEM brakes, but none with, bar a bit more cleaning.

Thanks for that suggestion. For future reference the braking system is the same for the 320 and 500 :D
The primary reason for the quest for low dust is the fact that the wheels I am considering are multi spoke and seemingly not as easy to clean as my OEM AMG ones.
I shall of course use multiple coats of wheel sealant and wax prior to fitment, but I am using a preventative approach to future maintenance/cleaning.
We don't like a dirty Mercedes do we??;)
All comments appreciated
