Why not get the correct one from your dealer as only £20 or less

I've seen complete mirrors on ebay for this, and it has a piece of the loom with 2 connectors. 13 pin or something??

 Do you break yours a lot then ?? ;)

I have never broken the wires yet as I will never use the auto fold feature for this very reason

That is an expensive way of dealing with it, why not ask some local TV man to repair what you have

this is getting ridiculous now. I managed to wangle one and the seller asked me whether it had 13, 9 or 9 plug connection??? I gave the reg and said you tell me what I need....... you asked for it.

I've counted the wires, there are 9. there are a few broken ones, so I admit the thing doesn't work.

how difficult can this be? how many different mirrors are there?

I am going around in a circle here....

decided to have a go at this as the malfunction on the dash was starting to annoy me on an hourly basis. you know when you get to that point and your ready to snap?............

All done. all working now. indicator works and so does the adjustment. 4 of the 9 wires had snapped.

conclusion was that whoever had a last look, had run the wiring incorrectly through the gap and when the powerfold had been used, it had ripped the cables.

i'll not use this function for a while.

happy days........
