Code is still not working, EPC excuses that the 50% sale is on is now invalid.

Hi
I am looking to buy a bosch battery and I think the code is not working
battery par no 444770175

That part # is http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/accessories-car-batteries/car-batteries/other-batteries/other-car-batteries/?444770175&0&cc5_1026

so an S3 Bosch 017 which on the main ECP site has a list price of £129.54, regular price of £110.40 and a "sale" price of £91.20. ECP sell the EXACT same battery with the EXACT same part # on the bay for £79.99 delivered or click and collect and curiously it's RRP according to their listing on the bay is £91.14  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-S3-Car-Battery-Type-017-90Ah-720cca-Sealed-3-Year-Warranty-590-122-072-/231062538596?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
Same battery on their carparts4less site is 89.99 without a "sale"... http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/p/////?444770175&0&cc5_999

So on ebay Euro car parts are claiming the RRP is 6 pence cheaper than they sell the exact same battery for in their "sale"

FWIW i bought my last car battery from my local battery and alternator specialists (TMF in Gravesend). It didn't have a Bosch sticker on it and no one tried to sell me an extended guarentee or any other BS nonsense but it was signifcantly cheaper than all the usual suspects. That was in late 2008 or early 2009 IIRC and the thing is still going strong...

Hi Guys,

Yes there is a discount code, however at the moment the code will not work due to our online promotion. At the moment the items online have up to 50% off so you are saving more than what you would with your discount code. However on the off change that you find an item that has less than 25% off on it let us know and we will match it to your club discount.

Please provide me with your reg so I can quote you a price.

Hi Jack, can you tell me why Euro Car Parts don't stock Gates Timing belts (the best aftermarket choice) but in the case of my Hyundai, only a 'Mitsuba' which I've never heard of and can't find out anything about? I wouldn't want to risk an unknown make in a critical application?

Hi,

If you provide me with your vehicle reg I can tell you the next suitable alternative.

Gate is a very good aftermarket brand, however we sell other brands that are just as good.

Thanks, but I'll stick with Gates.

Almost all I've read on the subject confirms Gates to be the first choice followed by Dayco or Conti-tech as second choice. I accept that most will do the job anyway but where conditions are perhaps non-ideal e.g. some small oil/water leak, or the scheduled change gets overlooked then a 'best' belt might survive where an 'adequate' belt might fail.

Hi There,

As you may know we have a promotion on at the moment which is giving you up to 50% off. (more than your 25% off promo code)

However we understand that some items have less than 25% off on them

As your club promo code allows you to have 25% off we are willing to match that. If you see any item you wish to order with less than 25% off on it, please tell us and we can change the price for you to match the club promo.

Please also try using EXTRA5 to get an extra 5% off.

Hope this helps.

Jack

Can i ask if it the its a normal thing to send other item that are not lke the listing on EBAY. Like picture of one item as original Mercedes ATF fluid and post out Febi. instead. As i move from one forum to another ,this as been a problem with Eurocarparts.
