So just a update, I changed the battery but the EML still appears. I was thinking that the high idle is probably due to the cold weather and it has been like this for a while without the EML but is still weird that it returns to normal after the heater is turned off. I also noticed that the heater doesn't blow full power on max like it used to so I changed the heater blower but still no change. So maybe there is another fault with the heater or seperate fault??
I did another diagnostic and the following have appeared pictured below but bearing in mind that the following have come up for last year without EML. Also like to add that the fault about low power supply is not showing anymore so maybe just a glitch as this happens with numerous faults before but that particular fault has appeared more than once. Please advise thanks

So these are the only 3 faults showing on my Carly. I don't think Carly does show every single fault like STAR so might be missing something. To be honest I don't think these faults are what's causing the EML could be wrong but the DPF sensor has been rewired and the left signal is working fine.

Disappointing!
Not used Carly, I think it needs a Star diagnostic to figure this out I’m afraid or even the icarsoft might help. Where you based?

The high idle has nothing to do with the battery. The car is getting the car and cabin up to temp faster. Mine does exactly that as well.
And not to mention that you are running ac, music, lights etc. All that is putting a drain on the battery.

Looks like I might have to get it hooked up to another diagnostic and see what comes up. I'm in Wembley

That's what I thought aswell. Does yours drop back to normal idle once warmed up coz mine don't and it's weird that it stays normal if I leave the heater off

Generally drops the idle when the car gets to 60 deg coolant temp. During the summer months don’t even get high idle.

so i took it to wayne gates and they said that the whole idling thing with the heater is normal o_O But still couldnt get a definitive answer regarding the EML as they suspect its something to do with the dpf removal process and remap but i didnt get a remap and the car has been running fine for the last 2 months until i started experiencing these issue. i still think theres a issue somewhere around the heater. something that has come up on my own diagnostic is temperature sensor left footwell vent. would this cause the EML to come on? also since i took it to wayne gates the EML doesnt go away after i clear the codes, coincidence or what?
there are a few codes that has no explanation on my Carly adapter so if anyone knows what these codes are please let me know, i have attached a picture showing the 4 faults. thanks
