So, car was parked(garaged) for 2 weeks as I when on holidays.
Tried to crank the car but, Notting. Asked a friend to help me jump starting the car, Notting. Checked the voltage on my AC diagnostic option by pressing REST and position 24–shows 10.6v.
Change battery for a new on. Same problem, turning the key to position 3, Notting happen, checked the fuses and all look fine. :/ what can I look after?!
I’m so sad in 3 months I drove never had a problem like this...
Thanks guys

Try bleeding the fuel system it could have gotten a little air into it

I operate fridge trucks at work we had a similar issue last week it made all the right noises as though it wanted to crank over but wouldn’t. Called out the engineer and he bled the fuel lines - starts first time every time now

Hope this helps

Could be your EIS I’ve known the connector at the back of the switch contacts to go a bit dry, drop the panel below the switch and wiggle the connector to improve the contact, mine does this occasionally and worth a try

Yes lights all look as normal, I always wait for the prelog coil light to go off and turn the key, but the left lights all stay ON

OK so we have all the prestart out the way. Sounds like the starter is either being told to engage but not doing so (bad starter (probably brushes if so) or bad solenoid or the signal to tell the starter to engage isn't getting there (broken/fallen off wire to solenoid or starter relay failed (if this car has one) or possibly a bad EIS where its not seeing the key position change to start.

As always start at the easiest/cheapest and work from there.

lost an earth ? unlikely, starter stopped in a bad place on the armature. can you go direct to the starter on this car ? try see if test light shows power going to solenoid on key turn

Will start from the starter motor, but might need to tow the car away, will update soon

If you can get to the back of the starter look for a thin wire coming to a terminal on the back. Connect a meter and have a friend operate the key and see if the voltage goes up whilst the key is turned. No voltage then the problem is before the starter. If voltage the issue is with the solenoid (on top of the starter where the thin wire attaches) or starter itself.

Ignition lights would suggest lock is disengaged however if it's not working maybe the car thinks it's still on?

Yes steering is unlocking and recognising the key, the key goes all the way until position 3, but no sound of cranking
