for all but the w221 s class the original and far better (but still miserable) Mercedes ones are readily available on the internet and cheap...

this looks like it only integrates via an audio in, with no display or steering wheel control (other than volume)

yes not the car...

the merc one provides odd navigation of the device via car steering wheel buttons, charging, and speedo/cluster display track names....
