Any Ideas - A180 Diesel Intermittent Knocking Noise

I have a 2015 A180 Diesel and there is an intermittent knocking noise when accelerating at lower speeds. Does not happen all the time and recently stopped for a week then started again. any ideas?

exhaust.
any number of suspension or steering components.
loose wheel.
something rolling around in the back .
umm... nope cant think of anything else .
anything intermittent can be a pia to diagnose, good luck !
