Hi, new to the forum and new to owning a merc. I have a vito vito w639 109 and have no heat blowing out my heaters vents at all. I have had heat only on a run at 2400 rpm. Ive changed the water pump and thermostat. Ive Ive the heater matrix cleaned out. That was fine. The water pump was fine also. The engine can sit on tick over for over 45 mins and the pipes are not getting hot. Im not loosing water or oil. Is there a magic fix??

All that heat's gotta be going somewhere.

Are the hoses to the radiator, and the radiator itself actually hot?

assuming the coolant isn't pressurising ?
It is pressurising. The engine isnt getting hot. Its got me and a lot of others stumped. The heater matrix is a lot higher than the bottle. Could it be airlocked if so how the hell do you get that out.??

Head gasket between pot 2&3 gone. New heater plugs installed because it made sense. Head skimmed and pressure tested. Van now like a new one but cheaper!! Cheers for your input folks. Much appreciated.
