Looking to buy a windguard that attaches to the rollbar of my '91 300sl. Saw one on Ebay several months ago but I don't see one now. Anyone got a source? Thanks in advance.

you can make these for a fraction of the price if so inclined
I AM so inclined! Obviously, I can add the straps to attach to the rollbar, but I wasn't sure if the windguard would fit inside the rollbar. Anything else I should know? Thanks.

On a 129 you need both the upright piece and the horizontal piece that sits behind the seats. If you don't have the horizontal piece you end up with a howling gale coming through between the front seats.

I've always quite fancied swapping out the upright section of my wind deflector for a piece of perspex, in the same shape as the current section. I wonder how difficult that would be.....

I suspect it would be less effective as the mesh isn't to designed to block the air, merely slow it down. You don't want air to hit the top of the upright and be bounced back into the driving area
