Ok it seems I need 4 new tyres on my 2014 e class 350 I have been quoted £933 all up for continentals that I have on at the mo and £850 for Dunlop’s . Which should I opt for , I don’t do any mileage as it’s just a weekend car ?

Thanks in advance

Si.

I think you should shop around a bit.
You will be able to pick up a set of Continentals, if you like them or any other good brand for a good bit less than you have been quoted.
I don't know what size wheels you have, I have 18" on my E350 coupe and a quick look on Blackcircles shows I can get a set of MO Continentals for £600 fully fitted. Or other brands for considerably cheaper.
Good luck with your search.

I’ve got same car , front 235/35/19.
Rear 265/30/19.
I’ve just fitted X4 Goodyear and it’s made a tremendous difference.
£900 though.

OK, Blackcircles are showing less than £750 for 19" Continentals and £602 for 19" Dunlops.

If you want a quiet comfortable ride, avoid Continentals! Try looking on tyreleader.co.uk for your required size and look at the EU noise/wet grip/economy ratings. OK, tyreleader don't do fitting but are normally cheap, courier delivered from germany, and our village tyre fitter, if he can't get close to their price, will fit customer supplied tyres for £10 per wheel including valve, balance and disposal of old tyre!

Camskill.
127 each for front Dunlops
163 each for rears.

Then add £50 or so for fitting (you'll need to find a fitter but it's not hard).

Another thumbs up for Goodyear

Just had 4 Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance from Blackcircles and fitted by Drexel, excellent service by both companies. Second set of Goodyear tyres.

I have Goodyear Efficientgrips on the 968 cab as I could not get Eagle F1's in 16". Done a fair few miles on them and am happy with them.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 3 or Dunlop SportMAXX would be my choice, stay away from Continental

Used to have a C63...
For low mileage, I'd definitely look at Goodyear or Dunlop options - more supple and quieter.

If your rears are 255/30R19 then Uniroyal Rainsport 3 are available - same size as my C63, and I ran them all round latterly, and they are a very good tyre.

If you (or maybe a family member?) have a Costco card they are currently offering £80 (off their price which is usually quite competitive) when you buy 4 x 19 inch Goodyear.
