Just had four Goodyear asymmetric 3 tyres fitted, is it advisable to have the car the steering aligned as well. Many thanks.

How was the wear on the old ones?

Not necessary unless as JB says above there were signs of uneven wear across for instance the shoulders really. Some folks do automatically, I don’t as everything seems good

Mum has them on the W204, they are excellent and quiet BUT not quite as good as the RS3 in the wet, they just don't feel as planted

I have them on a previous car and I think they are really good.

I had Assy 3's on the W211 and they were noticibly better than the conti 3's they replaced (very quiet). I currently have RS 3's on the C207 and find them just as good. If I was replacing, I'd go with either (whichever was cheaper).

I’ve the Goodyear’s on my E350 coupe. Can’t complain at all, nice and quiet. Wear on the fronts is fine, I’ll probably get around 25k out of them though I’m only expecting to get 12k out of the rears at the current wear rate. I do tend to accelerate quite briskly though but drive at average rates once up to speed.

Me too. All my cars bar one have Rainsport 3s and I'm very pleased with them. The one on Goodyear's at this time of year is lethal if you aren't very careful. If I could get RS3s for it they'd be going on right now but they don't do them in 285/35/19 sizes.
