I had no idea you'd gone over to the dark side John! Your wife hates it, wonder how long it will last then :D

So at 3 miles per kWh which costs 13p approx the equivalent distance covered per gallon of petrol (@119p per litre) works out at 124mpg equivalent cost if my maths is right.

Spot on A...if we’re being pedantic my EDF rate is 13.7 which barely changes the result really. Can’t complain at that really. I used a bit of petrol on Saturday too taking my son to Jodrell Bank ( well dropped him off and had a bit of fun in the way back)

Really need a “miles per tonne” of coal as well as mpg

It looks a stunning car John, I'd never heard of it before and the only electric BMW I've seen on the road is that i3, so I thought it was something like that. Well how wrong I was, it's just beautiful. Can't understand why your wife doesn't like it o_O

Well it’s not as quick as a McLaren 675LT as I now know...(think I’d guessed anyway)
Lovely black one wafted past me on the M62 today as I was heading back from Wetherby... :)
to be fair , I did spend 200k less buying the i8
