I have a Malcolm , a Marcel , a Vladimir , Rory but still yet to think of a suitable name for the R170 ???
Our Malcolm is named for its previous owner, even though we refer to the car as she or her.
The other SL is Katie - to do with her reg no being K***TEA. The 210 is 'The bus' and the Smart is 'The Wheelie Bin' (because it's grey and made of plastic).
In the past I've had Mabel (101 ambulance named after the previous owners mother), Fester (Defender 110 that was quietly festering with rust when I got it), Lurch (Range Rover Classic that lurched into corners), Morticia (101 GS just keeping to the theme) and Thing (military Sankey trailer). The was Olaf the Volvo T5 (because he put a huge grin on my face when I drove it) and Herman the German (Audi A8 4.2 Quattro Sport).

We've always named cars in our family. My mum once had a 100E prefect she called Rafferty (though I called it Rattly).

Naming cars. Hmm,

i have the white and red sheds. Affectionate terms really, red rhymes and the white one is an S (for shed?). Oh, and Larry the Lexus...

Absolutely no idea why Larry was chosen really but it seems to suit it

I drove the C63 down to portsmouth, in some of the worst weather I have driven in. A few sketchy moments :p
